We invite you to join us on our new tour: Band of Brothers® Tour with Currahee Military Weekend, October 2-18, 2025.
In July 1942, 5,000 men arrived at a remote training camp 5 miles outside of Toccoa, Georgia, at Currahee Mountain for training as a new type of soldier: a paratrooper. This training ground in the north Georgia woods was where the bonding process of the 506th began.
You will begin this tour where the men of Easy Company began: at Camp Toccoa. Among the activities that you’ll participate in during the Currahee Military Weekend are:
- Climbing Mount Currahee, the 1,000-foot mountain the men of the 506th ran daily for training. Here, they drew their inspiration and motto, “Currahee,” an Indian word meaning “We Stand Alone.”
- Celebrating the historical roots of the Airborne division and the men of Easy Company at an open house at the airport with an Honor Jump, Static Line Mock Up Demonstrations, Static Aircraft Displays, and a tour of Pacid Lassie.
- Enjoying a veteran’s parade and historical car show.
You will then follow their path of Easy Company from England into combat in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, and on to final victory at Berchtesgaden, Germany, Adolf Hitler’s Alpine retreat. Along the way, you’ll stand where the 506th fought in some of the most climatic battles of World War II.
This is the ORIGINAL Band of Brothers® Tour. Our founder, Stephen E. Ambrose wrote the book, “Band of Brothers.” We ran the first Band of Brothers® Tour in 2002. Any tour company that has come along since then is just copying us.
