Wheelchair Policy

At Stephen Ambrose Historical Tours, we strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our guests. To ensure that everyone can fully participate in our tours, we have the following wheelchair policy:

1. Physical Ability: Guests must be able to physically handle the tour activities. Our tours often involve walking over uneven terrain, climbing stairs, and other physical challenges.
2. Fold-Up Wheelchairs: We can arrange for a fold-up wheelchair to be stored in the luggage compartment of the bus for use on the tour. This option is available for guests who may need assistance to conserve energy during long walks.
3. Companion Requirement: If you require the use of a fold-up wheelchair, you must travel with a companion who can assist you by pushing the wheelchair. Our staff and tour guides are not able to provide this level of personal assistance. If you do not have a companion who can travel with you on tour, then SAHT can arrange for a person to push your wheelchair at your expense.
