SOE: Churchill’s Spies
My son and I took this tour some years ago and are still talking about it. The tour and it’s guide were fist class. I have been to Normandy since and it was more impressive having been with Ambrose before.
Stephen Ambrose Tours certainly covers strategy and the high level of a military campaign, but they have the great ability to collect much anecdotal information about the average GI and that is what gives the color and humanist to their tours.
I can't describe the experience completely. I really had a great time on this trip and I highly encourage you to choose this trip. If you have been on it before the second time is certainly worth it.
